Our Privacy Practices

We collect personal information about our residents directly from either the resident or from the person acting on his/her behalf. The personal information that we collect may include, for example the resident's date of birth, health history and financial information. Occasionally, we collect personal information about the residents from other sources if we have obtained consent to do so, or if the law permits.

We take steps to protect the residents' personal information from theft, loss and unauthorized access, copying, modification, use, disclosure and disposal. We conduct audits and complete investigations to monitor and manage our privacy compliance. We also take steps to ensure that everyone who performs services for us protects the residents' privacy and only uses the residents' personal information for the purposes consented to.

Residents, or the person acting on their behalf, may access and correct the residents' personal records, or withdraw consent for some of the above uses and disclosures by contacting us (subject to legal exceptions).
